Banksy projects street art onto London landmark
Bansky projected images onto famous landmarks to mark the anniversary of the Syrian conflict
In a touching evening vigil, the reclusive street artist Banksy projected a modified version of one of his most famous pieces. This is just one of a number of highly public guerilla style exhibitions that Bansky has organised over the past few years.
The publicity move was designed to draw attention to the three year anniversary of conflict in Syria. Large crowds drew, due to the popularity of street artist, Banksy.
Onlookers were encouraged to show their support by Tweeting with the hash-tag #WithSyria as similar demonstrations were staged over the world with the modified iconic image being projected onto some of globes most well know landmarks.
